Transform: The food industry on the way to sustainable nutrition.
The food industry worldwide is undergoing one of its greatest transformation processes. Climate change, in particular, is posing unprecedented challenges to the way food is produced, processed and traded. COVID-19 not only highlights the volatility of the global food and ecosystem, which was already visible before the Corona pandemic, but once again clearly highlights the need for global change.
Anuga 2021 will take up the clarity with which the food and beverage industry is facing a profound change and will focus on the transformation of nutrition under the central theme of "Transform".
The Anuga Executive Summit is also dedicated to this challenge. We are pleased that we have been able to win Dr Werner Schnappauf, Chairman of the German Council for Sustainable Development, for a key note speech. In addition, this year the Anuga Executive Summit is hosting the Award "Partnerschaftliches Handeln". This award is given to projects in Germany that focus on fair cooperation in the value chain and in which the idea of sustainability plays an important role.
